MG asked what I really want to do on Mother’s Day. HHmm…I really have to give it a thought.

To look back the passed 5 years, I don’t really recall celebrating Mother’s Day and in fact I missed out celebrating with my mum too. Usually I buy gift for mum and sometimes we eat out, but I think the last 2 years we didn’t celebrate together.

So what I want and what I dream off is to take a break from my family , hubby and the kids and spent a day with my mum. Just my mum and me. I realize after I got married, I hardly got the chance to spent time with my mum alone. In fact I hardly got a chance home to visit her not to mention spending time one to one with her. When she was here doing confinement for me, she was so busy taking care of my older kids, we hardly have the time to be alone and each time we visited, I also do not get a chance to chit chat with my mum as the older kids will interrupt our conversation and they fighting for my mum’s attention too. They love po po dearly and since we hardly go back my parent’s house, each time the kids see po po, they are equally excited and happy as me. Now, I just wish and dream that I can have alone time with my mum.

My dream on Mother’s day….

I will fetch my mum from her home early in the morning, bringing along mothers day gift baskets for her, which I would have pre-order these gift baskets online ( I have seen some nice gourmet gift basket online, which is so unique and I don’t think we can find it here locally, in fact there are so many variety of gifts/fruit baskets available online that caters to all holiday occasion, internet is a great place to check out these holiday gift baskets) and we will go for a nice breakfast together and then we will go for shopping and more chit chatting. After that we will check into a spa together for steam bath, massage, facial, pedicure and manicure. Lunch at fancy restaurant and follow by going to a hair saloon for a nice hair wash or a hair make over . We will proceed to have tea and more shopping and dinner at posh restaurant again.

Well well…all these are just fantasy. I’m still fully and highly needed by my children especially baby and how can I escape for a day from them? Impossible. Even if I really do get a chance, I don’t think I could have peace of mind and relax and not worrying on how they coping at home without me. I still haven’t learn how to let go.

So now, tell me what’s your Mother’s Day dream

Now I am interested in what YOU would really like to do on Mother’s Day.

Don’t hold back. Let it rip! Will you share your Mother’s Day Fantasies on your blog. Then pass it on to other Mothers to share. Lets be silly and let our hair down. Then add your name and blog post url to the list and let it go around. I’ll start with mine. Anyone can participate in this. Just write your blog post and add your name to the list. Its that simple.

That’s a very nice wish. Your mom would be happy to know that she has a daughter who looks up to her and loves her dearly.
