Learning To Teach

I remembered clearly my trial as a Montessori school teacher about a year ago. Though equipped with the knowledge, but when comes to hand on , it’s a total different story. Everyone thinks that teaching preschooler is an easy job, but the truth is how good a teacher can you be. You might be trained for many years, you might have took up a teaching course, but teaching itself is an art and it’s also skills. How can you be a good teacher, how do you implement what you have learned and how to you deliver the knowledge to the children? Facing a class of students can be intimidating. It take years of experience to be a good teacher. Now I really have to salute my mum. The wisdom of handling the class and young children comes from her 40 over years of teaching experience. If ever I were to become a teacher, I would have a very long way to go to be like her, but thanks goodness I have found this book. It’s really an awesome teacher’s guide.

I also posted about this book in my bookcorner blog. Check it out here.
