Sick Of Being SAHM
Hits for this post:308
I think I am a failure as a SAHM. My children don’t seems to be any smarter eventhough I stay home to nurture them. As the days go, I only find more weakness than finding their strenght. I seriously do not see what they are good at compare to other children of their age. Have I been too lenient or have I been too lazy and not put in enough effort?
I regretted staying home, I regretted giving up my job in MNC. Staying home or not, I guess it won’t make any difference. They will still be what they are today. At least if I work , I get good salary, with that I can dress up and perhaps own a pair of Christian Louboutin and have the mean to outsource the tutoring job to others.

I believe your kids are good and talented in their own ways.
All parents like their children to be smart and good, but comparing them with other children doesn’t do them or us any good… the only person they should compare with are themselves and their past.
If you were tired, it’s ok to take a break. You have already done a good job of nurturing them, don’t feel regret of what you have done for them. Take a break, look for your dreams and career… it’s ok.
If i could take a break, i would. But I do not have a choice. Baby #4 is on her way, I will still be stuck at home for at least 2 years. Sometimes I feel that she is the one that is holding me up for pursuing what I want and have planned to do. To be frank, my acceptance for her is 50/50 since she is a unplanned baby. Shall see if I can love her as much when she is out from the tummy.
becoming a sahm is not bout making smarter children. it is about showering them with more love n attention n building/instilling good character in them. u maybe dun see the result now but u will soon. be patience ok.
I feel like I have been taken for granted. Especially when my girl cheated on me when I ask her to do her work, she just want to get it done fast so that she can go play.
