Tongkat
Hits for this post:231
Apart from dementia, my FIL is also experiencing difficulties in walking. His legs are weak and so as his knee. He needs a walking stick now. At first he was very reluctant to use a walking stick, but at the end he knows he needs one. Due to his forgetfulness, he often misplaced his walking stick and his children had bought him many replacement. Recently SIL thought of buying him a better walking aid, knee scooters was what she had in mind. But FIL rejected the idea. In fact, not long ago when SIL bought him a four claw walking aid which would give him a better balance, my FIL was in rage and refused to use it. He still prefers his normal tongkat.
The kids now has got a new task. Each time we go out with FIL, before we leave a place, the kids need to remind their grandpa about his walking stick. Whoever remembers to remind grandpa is rewarded with RM1.
