Deep inside my heart, i still yearn to homeschool my kids… I am reading everything related to HS and also sharing from others HS’s family that makes me quite “gatal” to go for it, but I haven’t manage to get my hub’s consent.
I know the kids don’t really fancy school…. but I am surprised to hear JS said this to me during a chat on our way home from school
” I don’t want to be homeschool la…. very tiring wan… have to go here and there everyday, so many activities, I like staying home”
Obviously she doesn’t know much about homeschooling.. all she knew of is from what she seen on my FB…. particularly on Aunty S’s sharing… she is always bringing her kids attending to all outings and activities.
My kids are those who prefer laid back lifestyle… they don’t like to be rushed about, obviously spending time on the road is not something they fancy. And they know when we need to rush around so that we can get to place on time, the mother will be super stress and they don’t like it. I seriously wonder how some mothers do it with activities back to back.
Sometimes I think it is good for kids to just relax and be laid back , so they can internalized what they have learned and see, instead of rushing them from one activities to another… having said that.. I have just cancelled two of the school holidays outing with a little heartache… however much I love to bring them there, but I guess it’s important to listen to their voice and respect their choice and preference.
